and three years before the apparition in Fatima... 

on May 13th 1917...

to 22 people who happened to be mowing the fields at the time

near the church of the Holy Trinity, in Hrushiv, Ukraine,

Our Lady appeared, and said:

"There will be war.

Russia will become a godless country.

Ukraine as a nation will suffer terribly for 80 years

and will have to live through the world wars

but it will be free afterwards"
