perform the kindness of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva

love is our common language
when your heart is full of love and kindness
you will give to others a helping hand a thousand times over
and be helped a thousand times in return

I can't hear the rhythms of happiness
nor can I tell the reason for grief

yet my hands are closely held with so many others
together, we live our lives to their fullest

we never shed tears for the hardships we endure
neither have we ever resigned to fate

it's all because my hands
are closely held with so many others

together we dance
devoting heart and soul

despite the impairment we have
our performances are unrestrictive

with gentleness and courage we dance
to release the great power of love

hand in hand, hand in hand, we ease
hardship in life and bring joy to others

thanks to kindness
life becomes beautiful

thanks to love
life carries on

thanks to compassion
life is endowed with value

thanks to a grateful heart
life is filled with joy and delight
