Umberto Terenzi [geb.1900]...
eenmaal priester geworden, werd eerder al, in 1931...
naar het heiligdom van Onze Lieve Vrouw van Goddelijke Liefde gestuurd...
inmiddels jarenlang verwaarloosd in de verlaten parochie in Rome, Castel di Leva.
Vervolgens transformeerde hij de plek...
in een plaats van gebed en liefdadigheid.
Don Umberto, zoals hij werd genoemd, bouwde een politiebureau, een treinstation en een postkantoor. Hij verwelkomde ook de armen en alle soorten mensen, en mocht scholen, kleuterscholen, een kliniek en ten slotte een weeshuis bouwen. Zijn parochie werd een echte authentieke wijk.

Tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog...
verwelkomde het vluchtelingen.
Vervolgens creëerde hij de Zonen en Dochters van Onze Lieve Vrouw van Goddelijke Liefde voor de dienst van het heiligdom en voor de hulp van het platteland rond Rome.

Elke zaterdag, van de eerste na Pasen tot de laatste van oktober, wordt er te voet een nachtelijke bedevaart gehouden met vertrek om middernacht vanaf Piazza di Porta Capena, vlakbij het Circus Maximus. Bij zonsopgang, na 14 km afgelegd te hebben, bereikt men dan het heiligdom waar de pelgrimsmis wordt gevierd.
Ter gelegenheid van het Jubeljaar 2000...
heeft Johannes Paulus II de Sint-Sebastiaan buiten de Muren als onderdeel van de 7 Pelgrimskerken-route ´om onbegrijpelijke redenen´ vervangen door het Heiligdom van Onze-Lieve-Vrouw van de Goddelijke Liefde.
Niettemin geven de meeste pelgrims nog steeds de voorkeur aan de oude route, mede omdat de San Sebastiano eenvoudig te bereiken was en is met busje 118.

alle Romeinen op bij de beeltenis te bidden voor het behoud van de stad.
Nadat de stad behouden bleef, riep Pius - tijdens een bezoek aan het heiligdom - Onze-Lieve Vrouwe van de Goddelijke Liefde uit tot Salvatrix, Verlosseres, van de Stad Rome.
De populariteit van het heiligdom wordt onderstreept door het feit dat overal in de stad Rome aediculae te zien zijn met de beeltenis van de Madonna van de Goddelijke Liefde.

Petition to Our Mother of Divine Love
O beautiful Immaculate Virgin Mary,
Mother of God and our Mother,
spouse of the Holy Spirit,
with His Divine love,
has designed to come upon you
the moment you took form in your mother’s womb,
thus, preserving you from the stain of sin
and keeping you ever immaculate.
Again, He came down upon you
at the time of the annunciation,
whom you have been worthily greeted
by an angel with the words,
“Hail, full of grace!”
Yes, O Mother,
You are truly full of grace,
rendering you the Mother of Jesus,
at the same time keeping you ever Virgin.
Moreover,
He came down upon you on Pentecost,
filling you with His gifts, and making you the channel
and dispenser of all heavenly blessings.
Thus, we turn to you in confidence
that you will obtain for us the grace we need
for we know that you will never turn us away.
Therefore,
O gracious Lady of Divine Love,

The name ´Argentina´ itself is not Spanish, but Italian.
In Italian it means ´made of silver, silver coloured´, derived from the Latin ´argentum´ for silver. There, the adjective or the proper noun is often used in an autonomous way as a substantive and replaces it and it is said l'Argentina.
The name l'Argentina was probably first given by the Venetian and Genoese navigators, such as Giovanni Caboto. For in Spanish and Portuguese, the words for ´silver´ are respectively plata and prata, and ´made of silver´ is plateado and prateado.
Argentina was first associated with the Silver Mountains Legend...
widespread among the first European explorers of the La Plata Basin.
The Sierra de la Plata (Mountain of Silver) was a mythical source of silver...
in the interior of South America.
The legend began in the early 16th century when castaways [schipbreukelingen] from the Juan Díaz de Solís expedition heard indigenous stories of a mountain of silver in an inland region ruled by the so-called White King.
The first European to lead an expedition in search of it was the castaway Aleixo Garcia, who crossed nearly the entire continent to reach the Andean altiplano. On his way back to the coast, Garcia died in an ambush by indigenous people in Paraguay, but survivors brought precious metals back to corroborate their story.

The outposts founded during the expeditions gradually evolved into Buenos Aires and Asunción [in Paraguay], the lands colonized by the Spanish became Viceroyalty of the Río de la Plata.
Eventually, a Spanish expedition traveling from Peru in 1545...
found the Cerro Rico de Potosí in Bolivia, a massive silver deposit deep in the Andes. It is possible that the legend of the Sierra de la Plata was based on the silver mines of Cerro Rico de Potosí.

God chose to begin this cycle, after August 8, through the Brazilian nation...
so that the souls and especially the internal worlds, at this crucial moment in Latin America, keep present, in their hearts and in their memories, the Commandments...
so that, learning to live in the Laws of Life, hearts do not have to continue going through the path of suffering and ignorance.
For this reason...
My Beloved Son, sends Me as His Faithful Messenger and as Our Lady Aparecida...
to ask My Brazilian children deep awareness, to be very careful to know what they will choose.
Brazil, as the green heart of the Americas, cannot lose its balance.
A balance that it has not yet recovered after the tragedy of the pandemic.
Be firm [Wees standvastig]...
and, as apostles of My Beloved Son, pray...
and ask for discernment...
so that your hearts are the ones that decide the destiny of the nation, the one you aspire to...
and your minds are not influenced by the lies and false truths of these times of Armageddon.
Brazil is one of the few countries that, for the time being, is surviving communism...
the one covered/clothed with hidden jobs and false promises.
The Divinity calls you to pray before deciding.
The decision is in your hands.
Pray, and out of love, help the Angel of Brazil...
so that he/it is not the object of discord [onenigheid], division [verdeeldheid] and corruption...
just as other Angels of other nations are under the same yoke.
Dear children, that is why we are returning to the Americas.
Because they belong to the Sacred Project...
in which humanity will be able to start all over/begin afresh...

'Buenos aires'...
can be translated as 'fair winds' or 'good airs'...
but the first one was the meaning intended by the founders in the 16th century...
by the use of the original name 'Real de Nuestra Señora Santa María del Buen Ayre'
When the Catalans, the King of Aragon and the Count of Barcelona, Cagliari, conquered Sardinia from the Pisans in 1324, they established their headquarters on the top of a hill overlooking the city.
The hill was known to them as Bon Ayre (or 'Bonaria' in Sardinian language), because it was free from the foul odor that prevailed in the old town (the castle area), which borders on marshland.
During the siege of Cagliari, the Catalans built a shrine to the Virgin Mary on top of the hill.
In 1335, King Alfonso the Gentle donated the church to the Mercedarians, who built an abbey that stands to this day.
In the years that followed, a story circulated claiming that a statue of the Virgin Mary was recovered from the sea after it miraculously helped calm a storm in the Mediterranean.
That statue was placed in the abbey...

a group of Chinese Christian artists was active at the Catholic University of Peking (founded 1925).
These young artists tried to express the Christian faith in a Chinese way, and their style is known as Ars Sacra Pekinensis. About 500 works have been preserved and collected, most of them stemming from three men:

Since the Second World War...
and the political changes after 1949 interrupted their work...
