I offered for their conversion
I resolved to offer all of my crosses
lovingly to our Lord
but then I began to fear
that perhaps I would loose my salvation'...

after a year and a half
of persecutions and sufferings
it came about
that I would be able to leave
my dear clan in peace
so as no longer be a burden to them
and so that I might also be out
of danger of corruption'
