Once Hazrat Umar heard an old man making a dua, saying...

“Ya Rabbi, make me from the very few.
Ya Rabbi, make me from the very few.”

That man was just sitting and crying and making that dua, "make me from the very few"... And Hazrat Umar, who is holding on to the Sunnats and to the law very very strongly, he is asking the man, “What dua is this? Where did you hear this from? Why are you making this dua?”

And the old man replied...

“Ya Umar, I am taking from the Ayat of Allah
where Allah says 'few of my servants are thankful'
[34:14]... that’s all.”

And Hazrat Umar, in his majestic humbleness, said to himself...

“Ya Umar, everyone knows more than you, ya Umar.”
