THE MEETING

It all begins... 

when a young Calabrian decides to leave his country to go to Germany.

 

He wanted to see it with his eyes for a week and then return, at least so he told his mother. So he left, but on that day in September 1976 his life would change, yes... this is how our story begins and so our family was born. 

The same day when Giuseppe arrived in Germany, he was with his aunt shopping in the late afternoon, to be exact it was 6pm, in a small shop that sold Italian food. Right here, he saw that little girl who was struggling to take the shaving cream and standing behind her, he approached her and said: 'I'll help you!' She turned and he was thunderstruck.

That same evening, he called his parents saying that he would never come back... 

because he had met the woman he wanted to marry.
