The Porziuncola Indulgence [aflaat]... 

is a special favor granted by the Pope to St. Francis at his request :

One night in 1216, Francis awoke and felt a strong impulse to enter the chapel of the Porziuncola and pray. While at prayer, Our Lord and Our Lady appeared to Francis, and asked him what he desired.  

Thinking of others and recognizing his own sinfulness, Francis spoke: ''O God, although I am a great sinner, I beseech You to grant a full pardon of all sins to all who, having repented and confessed their sins, shall visit this church.'

Our Lord answered: 'Francis, you ask much, but you are worthy of greater things, and greater things you shall have.'

The truth is held within those... 

that are ready to be in likeness to God. 

The truth shows itself to the eyes of those... 

that open to see it. 

Truth is manifested in the heart of those... 

who are open to live it...

who do not grieve over their imperfections...

who recognize them, who know they are not perfect, but also know that in the depths of their inner world there is a divine molecule, that waits for them to look inward, and cease to be so superficial, cease to keep a constant attention on the things of this world, and on what they express as human beings, as personalities, as physical bodies, which are so different than God.

When My Child one day told you... 

that you are in likeness to Him and His Father...

it is because you are to seek that likeness within yourselves.

As this likeness is within each one, it is also within the consciousness of the planet.

It is for this reason that I reveal a sacred place to you at this moment.

In the name of humanity, ask for the Grace of being worthy of standing before Him. 

In the name of this nation, ask for forgiveness for having so long ignored the grandeur of this place [Weed, California], that is held in the occult side of nature, that is protected by all the Kingdoms, and is waiting for human indifference to give way to love for the Divine Plan.

Today I come here, to this sacred place, to slightly balance human indifference. 

And in this way generate the merits so that this place remains in the world, remains here, assisting humanity.

I speak to you about a place that is little understood... 

for the same reason that you do not know your inner world. 

Just as you are only attentive to the superficialities of your own being, you have also been attentive only to the superficialities of this world, you did not learn to penetrate the beauty of nature and go beyond it.

Ask God for the Grace of your eyes opening and being able to see more than an element in the mirrors of water; that you are able to find a part of the Divine Consciousness, that draws the Gifts of the Spirit of God from the universe, the attributes of Creation, the real human archetype, that radiates to each creature that accepts receiving that Grace within themselves.

From that time on... 

I remember that such a great yearning for suffering ignited within me, that it has not dampened yet. I also remember that after Communion I would ardently pray Him to concede me suffering. And sometimes, to content me, He seemed to take the thorns from His crown and prick my heart. 

-

Other times, I felt Him take my heart in His hands, and squeeze it so tightly, that I felt faint for the pain. When I realized that people might notice something, and He was disposed to give me these pains, I would immediately say to Him: “Lord, what are You doing? I beg You to give me suffering, but that it be hidden to everyone.” 

Up to a certain time, He made me content... 

but my sins have rendered me unworthy... 

to suffer hidden, without anyone noticing it. 

I remember that many times... 

after Communion, He said to me: 

“You will not be able to truly resemble Me other than by means of sufferings. Up until now, I have been together with you. Now I want to leave you alone a little bit, without letting Myself be felt. 

See, up to now I have led you by the hand, instructing you and correcting you in everything, and you have done nothing but follow Me. Now I want you to do it by yourself. 

However, be more attentive than before, thinking that My gaze is fixed on you, though I do not let Myself be heard. And that when I return to make Myself heard, I will come either to reward you, if you have been faithful to Me, or to chastise you, if you have been ungrateful to Me.”

I would be so frightened and terrified. 

Upon such intimation, I would say to Him: 

“Lord, my All and my Life, how can I survive without You - who will give me the Strength? How can this be? After You have made me leave everything, so much so that I feel as if no one existed for me - You want to leave me alone and abandoned. Have You perhaps forgotten how bad I am, and that without You I can do nothing?”

And because of this objection, assuming a more serious look, He would add: “The reason is that I want you to understand well who you are. See, I do this for your good, do not be saddened. 

I want to prepare your heart to receive the Graces which I have designed for you. Up until now, I have assisted you sensibly. Now, less sensibly, I will make you touch your nothingness with your own hand. I will fuse you thoroughly in profound humility, in order to be able to build most high walls upon you. 

So, instead of afflicting yourself, you should rejoice and thank Me, because the more quickly I make you cross the stormy sea, the sooner you will reach the Port of Safety. The harder the trials to which I will submit you, the greater the Graces I will give you. Courage, then, courage, and I will come back soon.” 

And in saying this, He seemed to Bless me. 

And then He would leave.

Weest niet bevreesd... 

voor hen die wel het lichaam kunnen doden maar niet de ziel.

Vreest veeleer Hem die en ziel en lichaam in het verderf kan storten in de hel.

Verkoopt men niet twee mussen voor een stuiver? En toch zal buiten de wil van uw Vader niet een mus op de grond vallen.  Bij u echter is zelfs iedere haar van uw hoofd geteld.  Weest dus niet bevreesd, gij zijt toch meer waard dan een zwerm mussen.

Ieder die Mij bij de mensen belijdt...

hem zal ook Ik als de mijne erkennen bij mijn Vader die in de hemel is.

Maar ieder die Mij zal verloochenen tegenover de mensen...

zal Ik ook verloochenen tegenover mijn Vader die in de hemel is.

Denkt niet, dat Ik vrede ben komen brengen op aarde. 

Ik ben geen vrede komen brengen, maar het zwaard.  

Tweedracht ben Ik komen brengen, tussen een man en zijn vader, tussen dochter en moeder, schoondochter en schoonmoeder; en iemands huisgenoten zullen zijn vijanden zijn.

Wie vader of moeder meer bemint dan Mij, is Mij niet waardig. 

Wie zoon of dochter meer bemint dan Mij, is Mij niet waardig.  

En wie zijn kruis niet opneemt en Mij volgt, is Mij niet waardig.  

Wie zijn leven vindt, zal het verliezen...

en wie zijn leven verliest, om Mijnentwil, zal het vinden.

There is only one priestly activity.

And that is Jesus Christ’s.

By it, the whole of creation glorifies the Trinity. 

This is this same activity that is offered by the angels in heaven, and the saints on earth. 

This participation appears in the New Testament, where the liturgy of the Church is presented as a participation in that of the angels. Thus, in the letter to the Hebrews 12:22-24, we read: “But you have come to Mount Sion, and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to the company of many thousands of angels, and to the Church of the firstborn who are enrolled in the heavens, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the just made perfect, and to Jesus, mediator of a new testament, and to a sprinkling of blood which speaks better than Abel.”

Hebreeën 12:1-11:

1 Laten wij ons dan aansluiten bij die menigte getuigen van het geloof, en elke last en belemmering van de zonde van ons afschudden, om vastberaden de wedstrijd te lopen waarvoor we hebben ingeschreven. 

2 Zie naar Jezus, de aanvoerder en voltooier van ons geloof. In plaats van de vreugde die Hem toekwam, heeft Hij een kruis op zich genomen en de schande niet geteld: nu zit Hij aan de rechterzijde van Gods troon. 

3 Denk aan Hem die zulk een tegenstand van zondaars te verduren had. Dat zal u helpen om niet uit te vallen en de moed niet op te geven. 4 Uw strijd tegen de zonde heeft u nog geen bloed gekost. 

5 Zijt ge al het Schriftwoord vergeten dat u als kinderen aanspreekt en aanmoedigt: Kind, minacht de tucht van de Heer niet, laat u door zijn straf niet ontmoedigen. 6 Want de Heer tuchtigt hen die Hij liefheeft, Hij straft ieder die Hij als zijn kind erkent. 

7 Het lijden dient om u te verbeteren en op te voeden; God behandelt u als kinderen. Ieder kind wordt wel eens door zijn vader gestraft. 8 Tucht is het deel van allen. Zou u elke kastijding bespaard blijven, dan waart gij bastaards, geen echte kinderen...

11 Tucht is nooit prettig, op het moment zelf is er meer verdriet dan blijdschap. Maar op de lange termijn levert ze voor degenen die zich door haar lieten vormen, de heilzame vrucht op van een heilig leven.]
