There are other prophets that came before Isa a.s. that raised the dead.
You can actually read about some of the Old Testament prophets that raised the dead...
You can read about old prophets that cured the blind, that cured lepers...
But Isa a.s. is the first baby ever, and the only prophet, to ever speak from the cradle.
So this is actually His first miracle.
I t 's i n t e r e s t i n g .
Because the Prophet a.s. said...
that there are 3x that a baby spoke form the cradle.
All 3x that was to clear a slander, so it is actually to clear someone's name.
The first one is the story of Isa a.s., when He spoke to clear His Mother's name.
The second one was the worshiper Juraij.
A worshipper of Bene Israel who would worship Allah...
and his mother called him.to come and serve her, to do some housework.
And Juraij says: I am too busy with my worship of Allah.
Then she supplicated to Allah, that he would not die until he met the adulteress.
Allah answered her dua, sent an adulteress to Juraij holding a baby...
saying: that is the father of this child.
And then Allah inspired the baby, to speak in defence of Juraij...
saying: actually, that is not the father.
So Allah both answered the dua of that mother...
while still honoring the worship of that man.
So it cleared a slander.
The third time...
a lady from Bene Israel that was nursing her child...
she's a slave, downtrodden, when a handsome rider passed by her.
She said: O Allah, make my child like that man.
The child spoke and said: O Allah, don't make me like that man.
Then he went back to suckling form his mother.
Then another person walks by, and this person is humiliated, a slave girl.
She doesn't look as brave and courageous as the other rider.
She doesn't have those characteristics .
And the mother says: O Allah, don't make my child like that slave girl.
But then the child said: O Allah, make me like her.
Because she was a righteous woman.
And when she asked her child, it responded...
that the one who was riding, the knight, was an arrogant man.
He's one of the tyrants among the tyrants.
And the slave girl, they blame her for stealing, and committing adultery.
But she is one of the righteous ones.
The scholars say...
that every one of the prophets was slandered.
But the slander on the side of Isa a.s., of Jesus pbuh, is the worst of slanders.
Because they didn't just slander Him, they slandered His mother as well...
with the worst types of slander.
And it's really powerful...
Because that same spot that Isa a.s. gave that khutbah from...
if you go to the Dome of the Rock today, which is part of Al Aqsa compound...
inscribed in the Cupola are inscribed these verses of Surat Maryam.
So where Isa a.s. will return once again...
as part of the inscriptions, it says:
O Allah,
send your peace and blessings
upon your Prophet and Servant
Jesus, the Son of Mary.

Maryam a.s. gives birth to Isa a.s.
A virgin birth to Jesus ﷺ.
Without any human intervention.
And Muslims affirm the virgin birth...
and Allah swt says that the creation of Jesus ﷺ is like the creation of Adam a.s.
He is said to be, and it was.
[i.e. He was the Word...]
Just like Adam had no mother or father...
Isa a.s. was created without father.
And so this was a testimony to the power of Allah swt.
There is no need for any human intervention in the creation of this special child, Isa a.s.
And Maryam a.s. brings that child to that area of the temple.
And she is holding Isa a.s. in her hands, she is scorned, she is mocked.
Allah has honored this woman in the most beautiful of ways.
An entire chapter in the Quran is named after her.
She was from the devout.
And she is a leader for both men and women.
She is the best of women created, and she is an example for all of us...
to look towards as a person of devotion, a person of ibadah, servitude.
She is not the footnote in the story of Isa a.s.!
She is not just the chain between Imran a.s. and Isa a.s.
She herself is a woman deserving of much recognition...
and much love and respect.

Thousands of tourists...
flock to Craigellachie’s Last Spike Gift Shoppe each year.
They pose for photos by the tracks...
and take turns re-enacting the 1885 photograph of Donald Smith driving in the last spike. But several hundred kilometres north, the Coastal GasLink pipeline is charging [stroomt] through the Wet’suwet’en territories that brought [brachten] Canadian railways to a grinding halt [tot stilstand].
November 7th marked the 135th anniversary of the Canadian Pacific Railway’s completion. Although the railway has always been a private corporation, it was — and remains — a wrought iron [smeedijzeren] symbol of Confederation. But for First Nations peoples, Canada’s railways are vehicles for expropriation [onteigening].
“Hot metal screaming through the valleys, echoing loud enough to wake the mountains,” the voice of Wet’suwet’en poet Jennifer Wickham shakes as she recites a poem from her collection, I’m a Real Skin. “A procession of metal caskets [kisten] carrying stolen goods: clickety clack clickety clack, cha-ching.”
She wrote the poem when she lived in Burns Lake. There, the trains would echo across the water, waking her up multiple times a night. “I hate the trains,” she says. “Like, a lot.”
But in 2018...
her community stood off with a different piece of Crown-backed, privately owned corporate infrastructure. Coastal GasLink had received approval from the Wet’suwet’en band council to build a pipeline on their territory, but not from the hereditary chiefs who traditionally govern their communities. Land and water “protectors” created blockades on the construction site to prevent the project from going forward, and this continued through 2019.
“Stand up and fight back,” Molly Wickham, spokesperson for the Gidimt’en camp and Jennifer’s sister, urged in a YouTube video, “Shut down Canada.” From January 2020 until COVID-19 struck, protesters from coast to coast answered the call by blocking the country’s rails.
On the other side of the country in Kahnawake, Quebec, Mohawk filmmaker Roxann Whitebean was moved to block the rails when she saw Wet’suwet’en people being forcibly removed from their territory. “Canada always projects itself as being the most peaceful country in the world, but that’s not the case for Indigenous Peoples,” said Whitebean. “That’s not our reality.”
But why target the railways?

After climbing a mountain...
the saint saw a precious castle...
from whose towers flowed four great rivers.
Ahead was a large green field, with a crystal pavilion covered in precious stones.
Inside, all the sadness turned to joy.
The saint wanted to go through the castle gate...
but a porter stopped him.
He could only see the inside of the castle from the gate.
In the distance, Amaro saw the characteristic landscape of Earthly Paradise.
The birds sang so melodiously, that the charm of their voices...
made a thousand years pass as if they were only one day.
In the midst of it all, the Virgin was adored...
and young maidens played instruments and danced around her.
Everyone passed in front of Her...
laying wreaths and palm branches at Her feet.
Even the birds came to worship the Mother of God.
When Saint Amaro asked the doorman again to let him in...
the guard told him that it was time to leave there...
that he had spent 266 years at the gate of Paraíso Terreno...
and had not aged at all.
-
He told him that the day would come...
when he could enter the Heavenly Heaven...
which was even more glorious than the earthly one.
He also offered him fruits from Heaven...
but Amaro only wanted some land.
Returning to the place where he had left his companions...
he saw that a great city had been built there.
When the descendants of those...
who had been in his company...
realized who he was...
they bestowed on him due honor.
-
He lived the rest of his life in a monastery he founded...
close to the monastery of the noble ladies...
and when he died he was buried...
next to his two holy friends...
Beralides and Bridget.

While I was wondering where is this going...
in fact, I was feeling so uncomfortable...
feeling like we are going deeper and deeper in politics
and I was like: Lord, where is this going?
And I began to see the list of names, like Lillian Ngoyi's...
And I began to see the list of names of women...
that the Lord is burdening [belasten] at this time...
with the impression, the birthing pains...
the push, the intercession, privately, of the birthing of this nation and people...
that many many women in South Africa, in Africa...
who are privately interceding, pushing, with the birthing pains...
of the change of garment, the change of God of the nation of South Africa.
And the Lord gave this word:
Oh Africa!
'You will seek Me and find Me, when you seek Me with all your heart.’ (Jeremiah 29:13)
'Know also that wisdom is like honey for you. If you find it, there is a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.' (Proverbs 24:14)
'Then God said to Abraham: as for Sarai, your wife, you shall not call her name Sarai any more. Sarah shall be her name. Sarah shall be her name. I will bless her and give you a son by her. I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of many nations. Kings of peoples shall be from her.' (Genesis 17:15-16)
'The Lord your God will bless you, as He has promised. You will land to many nations, but you will no longer need to borrow any more. You will rule many nations, but they will no longer rule over you. The gates are open.' (Deut.15:6)
As the Lord began to remind us...
how to position ourselves into receiving.
And to coming into His divine alignment with what He is releasing over our continent.
In this hour, the Lord reminded me, that He has been talking to us, whispering to us...
as a body of Christ, regarding our need to align ourselves with repentance...
fasting and prayer, praise and worship, holiness, purity, humility...
which He calls humili-key, obedience, obedience and obedience.
And sensitizing us in this hour to be sensitive about treating others...
in the way that we would have them do to us
And ensuring that our respect...
it's a sensitive time to ensure that our respect for educational qualifications...
and all the requirements of previous experiences in certain circumstances...
do not become our worst enemy at this hour.
And the impression that I was receiving from the Lord that this time He was saying...
the way and the time in which He has ushered us into, it's a time not only to look into people who have done things before, or who have qualified before, or who have helped or experienced in certain things.
For there are people that the Lord has been preparing behind the scenes.
In the basement, in the caves, in the behind the scenes.
And these people He is beginning to reveal now.
Even in different churches, where some people have been sitting on the back seat for a long time.
Not being able to speak, not being able to say anything.
Some because of lack of identity.
Some because they have been waiting for a sound and a time.
And an unction [zalving] from the Lord to come out.
But as we finish with this word:
‘When I lead you in the way you should go, you often start well.
And as the next steps completely defy [tarten] your expectations, you default [falen,in gebreke blijven] into what you know, or what you did before, or what is logical, what's familiar, what is more acceptable to others and within reason.'
So the Lord says:
'As I lead you out of the land of captivity...
'foolishness' is your strategic weapon...
foolishness in God, foolishness in faith...
some of the things that the Lord will burden you to do...
are the key to the deliverance [verlossing] that He has ushered in our midst at this time.
Get ready!
You will be known as a people totally crazy, nuts and loosing it!
Reject the pressure to have an answer for everything.
Be confident in your obedience to Me'
declares the Lord.
