There are other prophets that came before Isa a.s. that raised the dead.

You can actually read about some of the Old Testament prophets that raised the dead...

You can read about old prophets that cured the blind, that cured lepers...

But Isa a.s. is the first baby ever, and the only prophet, to ever speak from the cradle.

So this is actually His first miracle.

I t   's   i n t e r e s t i n g .  

Because the Prophet a.s. said... 

that there are 3x that a baby spoke form the cradle.

All 3x that was to clear a slander, so it is actually to clear someone's name.

The first one is the story of Isa a.s., when He spoke to clear His Mother's name.

The second one was the worshiper Juraij.

A worshipper of Bene Israel who would worship Allah...

and his mother called him.to come and serve her, to do some housework.

And Juraij says: I am too busy with my worship of Allah. 

Then she supplicated to Allah, that he would not die until he met the adulteress.

Allah answered her dua, sent an adulteress to Juraij holding a baby...

saying: that is the father of this child.

And then Allah inspired the baby, to speak in defence of Juraij...

saying: actually, that is not the father.

So Allah both answered the dua of that mother...

while still honoring the worship of that man.

So it cleared a slander.

The third time...

a lady from Bene Israel that was nursing her child...

she's a slave, downtrodden, when a handsome rider passed by her.

She said: O Allah, make my child like that man.

The child spoke and said: O Allah, don't make me like that man.

Then he went back to suckling form his mother.

Then another person walks by, and this person is humiliated, a slave girl.

She doesn't look as brave and courageous as the other rider.

She doesn't have those characteristics .

And the mother says: O Allah, don't make my child like that slave girl.

But then the child said: O Allah, make me like her.

Because she was a righteous woman.

And when she asked her child, it responded...

that the one who was riding, the knight, was an arrogant man.

He's one of the tyrants among the tyrants.

And the slave girl, they blame her for stealing, and committing adultery.

But she is one of the righteous ones.

The scholars say...

that every one of the prophets was slandered.

But the slander on the side of Isa a.s., of Jesus pbuh, is the worst of slanders.

Because they didn't just slander Him, they slandered His mother as well...

with the worst types of slander.

And it's really powerful...

Because that same spot that Isa a.s. gave that khutbah from...

if you go to the Dome of the Rock today, which is part of Al Aqsa compound...

inscribed in the Cupola are inscribed these verses of Surat Maryam.

So where Isa a.s. will return once again... 

as part of the inscriptions, it says: 

O Allah,

send your peace and blessings

upon your Prophet and Servant

Jesus, the Son of Mary.
