As the angels are brought into existence, they say:

'La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.'

لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِٱللَّٰهِ

There is no power or might 

exept that of God.

[We have none.]

So as Jibreel [Gabriël] was brought into existence... 

the first soul, first creature that has been given a spirit...

he said: 'La hawla wala quwwata illa billah.'

Angels...have no gender, no desire...

nothing to distract them... 

from worshipping their Creator.
