With regard to Jibril...

the most common theme that you find...

is the word Rūḥ, 'spirit' or 'soul'.

The Holy Spirit... 

trustworthy spirit... 

truthful spirit.

'Our Spirit.'

God brings what gives a person a soul...

what settles the hearts, right?

God gives life through what is revelation.

So in some of the scholars, they said that Jibril is called Rūḥ...

because he brings that which gives you a soul in the first place...

which gives y o u  life.

And if you dissect the root letters of Rūḥ...

it is the same root as Raha...

which is 'to comfort', 'to settle'.

Jibril brings what settles the hearts.
