The blood which runs in us, is born of the blood of our Earthly Mother.

The air which we breathe is born of the Breath of our Earthly Mother. The tenderness of our flesh is born of the Flesh of our Earthly Mother, Whose Flesh waxes [groeit,wast] yellow and red in the fruits of the trees, and nurtures us in the furrows [voren] of the fields.

Our bowels are born of the Bowels of our Earthly Mother, and are hid from our eyes, like the invisible depths of the Earth.

Dona Teresa Cristina [1822–1889]... 

nicknamed 'Mother of the Brazilians'... 

was the Empress consort of Emperor Dom Pedro II of Brazil, who reigned from 1831 to 1889. 

Born a Princess of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies in present-day southern Italy, she was the daughter of King Don Francesco I of the Italian branch of the House of Bourbon and his wife Maria Isabel. 

It was long believed by historians that the Princess was raised in an ultra-conservative, intolerant atmosphere which resulted in a timid and unassertive character in public, and an ability to be contented with very little materially or emotionally. 

Recent studies revealed a more complex character, who despite having respected the social norms of the era, was able to assert a limited independence, due to her strongly opinionated personality, as well as her interest in learning, sciences and culture.

The Princess was married by proxy [1 partner afwezig, bij volmacht] to Pedro II in 1843. 

Her spouse's expectations had been raised when a portrait was presented that depicted Teresa Cristina as an idealized beauty, but he was displeased by his bride's plain looks upon their first meeting later that year. 

Despite a cold beginning, the couple's relationship improved as time passed, due primarily to Teresa Cristina's patience, kindness, generosity and simplicity. These traits also helped her win the hearts of the Brazilian people, and her distance from political controversies shielded her from criticism. 

She also sponsored archaeological studies in Italy... 

and Italian immigration to Brazil.

The marriage between Teresa Cristina and Pedro II never became passionately romantic, although a bond based upon family, mutual respect and fondness did develop. The Empress was a dutiful spouse and unfailingly supported the Emperor's positions and never interposed with her own views in public. 

She remained silent on the topic of his suspected extra-marital relationships—including a liaison with her daughters' governess. In turn, she was treated with unfailing respect and her position at Court and home was always secure. 

Of the four children Teresa Cristina bore the emperor, two boys died in infancy and a daughter of typhoid fever at the age of 24.

Teresa Cristina, along with the remaining members of the Imperial Family, was sent into exile [in France] after a coup d'état staged by a clique of army officers in 1889. 

Being cast from her beloved adopted land had a devastating effect on Teresa Cristina's spirit and health. Grieving and ill, she died of respiratory failure leading to cardiac arrest little more than a month after the monarchy's collapse. 

She was greatly loved by her subjects... 

both during her lifetime and afterwards. 

She was even respected by the Republicans who overthrew the Empire. Despite having had no direct impact on Brazil's political history, Teresa Cristina is well regarded by historians, not only for her character and irreproachable behavior, but also for her sponsorship of Brazilian culture.

There are other prophets that came before Isa a.s. that raised the dead.

You can actually read about some of the Old Testament prophets that raised the dead...

You can read about old prophets that cured the blind, that cured lepers...

But Isa a.s. is the first baby ever, and the only prophet, to ever speak from the cradle.

So this is actually His first miracle.

I t   's   i n t e r e s t i n g .  

Because the Prophet a.s. said... 

that there are 3x that a baby spoke form the cradle.

All 3x that was to clear a slander, so it is actually to clear someone's name.

The first one is the story of Isa a.s., when He spoke to clear His Mother's name.

The second one was the worshiper Juraij.

A worshipper of Bene Israel who would worship Allah...

and his mother called him.to come and serve her, to do some housework.

And Juraij says: I am too busy with my worship of Allah. 

Then she supplicated to Allah, that he would not die until he met the adulteress.

Allah answered her dua, sent an adulteress to Juraij holding a baby...

saying: that is the father of this child.

And then Allah inspired the baby, to speak in defence of Juraij...

saying: actually, that is not the father.

So Allah both answered the dua of that mother...

while still honoring the worship of that man.

So it cleared a slander.

The third time...

a lady from Bene Israel that was nursing her child...

she's a slave, downtrodden, when a handsome rider passed by her.

She said: O Allah, make my child like that man.

The child spoke and said: O Allah, don't make me like that man.

Then he went back to suckling form his mother.

Then another person walks by, and this person is humiliated, a slave girl.

She doesn't look as brave and courageous as the other rider.

She doesn't have those characteristics .

And the mother says: O Allah, don't make my child like that slave girl.

But then the child said: O Allah, make me like her.

Because she was a righteous woman.

And when she asked her child, it responded...

that the one who was riding, the knight, was an arrogant man.

He's one of the tyrants among the tyrants.

And the slave girl, they blame her for stealing, and committing adultery.

But she is one of the righteous ones.

The scholars say...

that every one of the prophets was slandered.

But the slander on the side of Isa a.s., of Jesus pbuh, is the worst of slanders.

Because they didn't just slander Him, they slandered His mother as well...

with the worst types of slander.

And it's really powerful...

Because that same spot that Isa a.s. gave that khutbah from...

if you go to the Dome of the Rock today, which is part of Al Aqsa compound...

inscribed in the Cupola are inscribed these verses of Surat Maryam.

So where Isa a.s. will return once again... 

as part of the inscriptions, it says: 

O Allah,

send your peace and blessings

upon your Prophet and Servant

Jesus, the Son of Mary.

The first thing He says, is that He is abdullah.

He declares that He is here in servitude to Allah swt.

By doing so, He immediately clarifies He is not God.

Ánd He clears the name of Maryam a.s.

Then, He speaks to the future.

He will give me a Book, and He will make Me into a Prophet.

And He made Me Blessed, wherever I may be.

Not just blessed in Jerusalem, not just blessed in Egypt.

Blessed wherever I may be, in both comings...

both the first coming of Christ and the second.

And He has entrusted Me with the prayer... 

and with the zakat, alms giving.

As long as He is alive...

in both comings.

In both comings will He uphold the Law of the Prophets before Him.

If you think about it, the first coming Isa a.s. upholds the Law of Moses.

The second coming will uphold the Law of Muhammad a.s.

So it is interesting, because He comes with a mandate... 

to uphold the Laws that come before Him as well.

And He has made Me dutifull to My Mother.

And He has not made Me one who is wicked...

or one who brings some sort of deprivation to the one He is born to.

It is said that one of the signs of wickedness of the time is the disrespect to the parents.

And it is said that this is also one of the signs of the Day of Judgment.

The idea of children treating their parents like slaves...

that is sort of the end of the road for people...

So Isa a.s. upholds His duty to His Mother.

And it is really powerful, because it speaks again to the virtue of Maryam.

That one of the reasons for His sending was to honor His Mother.

prepared for an exhibition she never managed to set up.

Two distinct trees, representing parent and child... 

have their trunks united in one point at the base. 

Their union will not last long, as they are destined for a complete separation. 

Giastin wants to communicate that mother and father must let their child go... 

because this is what true motherhood and fatherhood consists of.

Even if the title refers to motherhood... 

the painting does not only represent the mother figure. 

Because God is mother ánd father, and parenting must be inspired by that of God towards man.

The smaller trunk in the shade takes light from the large tree illuminated by the sky, and the position of the two foliage suggests a great tenderness of looks. 

The trunks are very robust, as always in Giastin's paintings, because they refer to the strength and solidity of the love that unites parents and children, inspired by the love that unites God to man. 

The sky at dawn has a streaked [gestreept] appearance, due to the diluted [verdunde] color that gives the image a rarefied [ijle] and unreal atmosphere.

To avoid bad weather, they took refuge on a beach by Mount Athos... 

where the Iveron monastery was founded centuries later.

The Most Holy Theotokos marveled at the beauty of the place, and was met reverently by its inhabitants. She appealed to Her Son to bestow the whole area of Mount Athos to Her. Soon, a voice from heaven was heard: “May this place become Your domain, a garden and heaven on earth, and what’s more, a refuge to those who seek salvation.” 

The evangelization by the Mother of God enlightened the local dwellers who received holy baptism. 

“This place will be given to Me by My Son and My Lord,” said the Most Pure One. “May the grace of God dwell in everyone who resides here, and fulfills God’s commandments. They will have everything they need for their earthly cares, and the Mercy of My Son and our Lord will never cease, until the end of times. I will be their Guardian, and will intercede for them before God.”

The Queen of Heaven Herself miraculously guided the ascetics to Athos. 

Among the first ones was Venerable Peter, who was told by the Mother of God: “There is no better place to serve God than Mount Athos, which I have accepted as My Heritage from My Son and our Lord. Those who seek to get away from worldly cares and temptations, will flock here to serve God. 

Great is My love for this place, and the times are near when it will, from its northern to southern end, be filled with a great many ascetics. As long as they serve God, and keep His commandments in their hearts, I will intercede for them during their earthly life, easing their labors and illnesses. 

They will have everything they ever need: I will weaken their enemies warring against them, and glorify the fruit of their spiritual labor, throughout the earth.”

Our Lady's instruction in prayer... 

is just one of the ways in which She acts as a catechist and a guide to the seers, and through them for us. 

In teaching the girls about the love of God... 

loving God and our neighbor...

living a life of Faith... 

observing fundamental, social, and personal virtues... 

the Hereafter, Piety and the Church... 

Our Lady serves as their instructor, guide, and model. 

In turn, the villagers learn much from the example shown by the visionaries' behavior and conduct in prayer and life in general.

The Message: 

Once again, we see Our Lady as a loving and caring Mother... 

Who knows that simply telling someone to do something is not enough. 

If one truly loves another, one will shów them how... 

and why to do something correctly. 

In a world where people only think of themselves at worst, or show minimal concern for others at best, we are called to go that extra mile, to serve as models of Christ-like behavior, to be ´carriers´ of the Word and Love of God, and the example of Christ and His Blessed Mother. 

Let us be good Samaritans and our brothers' keepers all rolled into one, in a world that often appears immune to the Love of God.

St. Irenaeus wrote a meditation, which reads:

Through Her instruction, Love and Care, Our Blessed Mother can help us to undo the conflicts and problems in our lives as well, facilitating our personal path to salvation as well as our opportunity to help save souls, if we accept that invitation. 

At Garabandal we see how rosaries were miraculously untangled when returned to their owners. If we trust Our Lord and His Blessed Mother, and follow the advice given at this humble Spanish village over four decades ago, They will likewise help ús...

is a great current of elevated spiritual energy... that nourishes the spaces of Creation... 

and, at the same time, moves towards the other constituted Universes: 

- the Spiritual Universe

- the Soul Universe

- the Higher Mental

- and the Cosmic Material Universe.

It is in this way that all existing life is benefitted by these impulses... 

which eternally emanate from the Creator Sources of the Spiritual Universe.

In this sense, just as the Creation and the Universe feed and nourish themselves on divine principles that the Only Mind constantly emanates... 

the creatures, created in the image and likeness of God, have the inner potential to establish a contact with the meaning for their existence, that is, to resume union with their purpose of life.

The Essence of the Mother of God...

emerged, manifested itself and sprang from one of these most potent matrixes... 

so that we could live, by the Will of God, an experience of love on Earth.

This Divine Conception of the Mother of God was formed without any stain... 

as it did not have any experience of suffering, duality or errors.

The Divine Origin of the Essence of the Greater Mother was constituted based on an extremely high degree of purity, of love, and of humility; which led her to incarnate on Earth as a purely immaculate and humble Being.

This characteristic... 

unusual within the Creation of the Project of God... 

had an unknown meaning and purpose to the human being... 

up until the present time.

Within the revelations... 

delivered to the Most Holy Mary, through Archangel Saint Gabriel...

it is expressed that the spiritual constitution of the Mother of God is a faithful mirror of the ardent desire of God for the creatures of Earth to know the Love of the Father in a maternal and cosmic aspect.

All of the simplicity and poverty that the Mother of Jesus could manifest during Her passage on Earth were reflections of the fulfilling of this project thought of by God, to defeat evil and duality, by means of the arrival of the Messiah, the Savior.

For God, first it was important for the spiritual, universal and divine contribution of the Creator Fathers, of the Archangels, so that this experience of divine maternity and of unconditional love might have a lasting result throughout the times and the ages.

The recognition that each being of the Earth can make of maternity, and of the affiliation with the Mother of God, spiritually allows God to grant His Divine Presence in the heart of humanity.

Thus, evil is once again overcome by the power of maternal love, by that unconditional motherly love that is capable of giving life to each one of her children.

In synthesis... 

the desire of God for humanity to have a material and spiritual Mother, like Mary, the Mother of Jesus...

was to break the chain that was formed at the beginning with Adam and Eve... 

so that, with humanity being able to recognize the Mother of God, the Mother of all... 

the maternal love might dissolve the roots of evil, and the causes of all errors, time and again.

In this way, the project, thought of within the Source of Creation, through the matrixes and with the spiritual contribution of the archangels, by indication of the Eternal Father... 

constituted the Essence of Mary as a possible and evident result by applying the same experience of love in all creatures, permitting the actulaization of the Plan and the transcendence of duality.
