St. Martin de Porres comes. He says:
'Praise be to Jesus. I have come to help you understand that discernment is not an intellectual gift, but a spiritual gift. The one that thinks discernment comes from the intellect has a spiritual illness. He is too dependent upon himself.
Though the intellect may interplay [in wisselwerking zijn, samenspelen] with the spiritual in discerning, it is the spiritual enlightenment in the heart that discerns.'
