On Friday, in ecstasy Rosalie relived the Passion of Christ.
Here is an excerpt dated September 18, 1903:
"This is Rosalie, lying on a miserable bed, but clean, as if asleep, the bloody traces of the crown of thorns on her head. Slowly, blood dripping on her forehead, eyes, temples dries slowly. The hands, I see the bloody traces of the nails, the blood flows gently...
Meanwhile, it is 11 hours. Rosalie opened her eyes. She crosses her hands on her chest, looking at the crucifix at the foot of the bed, and prays in silence...
Suddenly, Rosalie makes a slight movement to the right and falls at full length, as she was lying on the bed, the face on the floor. All this without moving the limbs... Rosalie remains scope for an hour, on the cold stone floor.
Then she slowly recovers, and, although completely paralyzed, she takes four steps and then falls, face against the ground. Then she slowly recovers, and although completely paralyzed, takes four steps and then falls again, face against the ground. She remains slumped for a few minutes, straightens staggered, as if carrying a heavy load.
The same scene is repeated three times. The fourth time, she falls on the back, extends her right arm and open hand. The arm trembles and face convulses, as in excruciating pain. Second, she extends the left arm and the same scene is repeated painfully.
Now it's as if the body is elongated, she puts the left foot on the right foot and the members tremble as under the effect of a horrible pain, but not a complaint escapes her lips. Her eyes are still closed. It is a vivid image of our crucified Saviour. Not a sound in the small room! All are deeply moved and pray in silence. Occasionally deep stirrings of pain convulse her body.
She thus remains lying down for an hour. Around 0:50 she begins to pray softly, then louder so that all can understand. She prays for the salvation of souls in purgatory, and she offers herself as a sacrifice.
Her face lights up with a miraculous beauty. After a few moments she says: "0 my Jesus, untie me now from the cross.'' She crosses her hands on her chest. Rosalie regains consciousness and goes back to bed..."
