COSIMO

A few years passed... 

and I found myself in my 4th pregnancy. 

I decided to do the amniocentesis [vruchtwaterpunctie]. 

I wanted to face everything from the beginning, so the verdict was the same, but this time I was not angry, I knew that God was with me, and so I decided for life and with life. 

Cosimo was born on September 5th, 1994. 

He was a boy, something was wrong, because the doctors claimed that if it hits the female gene, it could not do anything about the male gene? And wasn't it one in four? Even today, we do not know what happened and why, the geneticist simply told us: a fatality and that it can happen one in a billion people. 

We have been chosen. Today we are aware that in our house we have hosted three wonderful souls, who have brightened our days, and who now continue to be close to us in heaven. 

Death separates bodies, not souls. 

We feel united when we pray... 

or when we communicate with the Eucharistic Sacrament. 

Christ defeated death for us. 

For you, and for everyone.

Their illness was a fatality.

Their life was full of beauty and in the end they won... 

their soul was always joyful and serene in God.

Today I define them like this: 

Rosaria the Light. 

Giastin the Announcement. 

And Cosimo the Prayer. 

These elements need each other as in a circle. 

A continuous thread.

Giastin flew to heaven on February 21st, 2004... 

wearing his dance shoes... 

because the first thing she would do in Heaven was dance for her God of her's.

Cosimo flew to the sky on February 24th, 2009... 

after repeating 3 times: 'Jesus, you know I love you.'

The miracle also came true in Giastin and Cosimo... 

God extended their days - even if they didn't live 90 years. 

Rosaria lived 15, Giastin 16 and Cosimo 14 years.

All our children chose the sky after a short period with us. 

But their passage was not useless. 

And as Giastin said: 

'The world is beautiful precisely because there are different trees, different flowers, and above all different people, and each of these people is an important piece, that is valid, and serves to complete the puzzle of God.'
