leiders helpen

enkele vragen...

Q: How can I help the world leaders, to fill their mind with good ideas, peace...

A: How you can help, is by changing yourself.

You will never be able to help somebody else to change. You can only change yourself. When you change yourself, that contributes a lot to this world. If you don't change, and you expect everybody else to change, it's not working. First, look at yourself. Change brings the best out of you, you know.

Become positive...

Become a vegetarian, stop by encouraging the killing of animals... Our mind set is the food that we eat. Very often people don't realise that, thinking yes we can eat everything and we can carry on on the spiritual path and do whatever... No, if you want really to grow spiritually, you háve to let go of this. Because then, you are contributing to something positive in life. You can't say: I want to bring peace into the world, while you yourself are not contributing, by eating meat and so on.

So filling the stomach with the right things is also affecting one's mind set. Like in the saying - I don't know whether it is a French saying or so - "You are what you eat". (I think it is French, but you say it here also, no...)

Imagine, for an animal, what they go through before they are killed. Do you think by cooking it, or burning it, that would change it? No, that doesn't change anything. That nervosity, that anger, that worry... Imagine somebody would do that to you, what would you go through, mentally? The anxiety, the frustration, the anger... that áll goes into the meat that people eat. Then you will have to bear the consequence of it!

There is a beautiful analogy to that.

There was a man walking. As he was walking, he saw a mango tree. When he saw the mango tree, he wanted the mango. What did he do? He climbed on the tree. So the feet climb... The eyes see, the feet climb. But that is not enough, the hand must pick it. So the hand picks the mango.

But the hand that picks the mango cannot eat it. The mouth eats it. The eyes see, the feet climb, the hand picks, the mouth eats, it tastes it. The mouth tastes it, but can the mouth keep it? No, the mouth doesn't keep it. What keeps the mango? The stomach. So the stomach keeps the mango.

Then the owner of that mango tree comes. Seeing that you have taken his mango, what will he do? He gives you a good beating! Who gets the beating? The back! So when your back gets the beating, who feels the pain? Who cries? The eyes! The eyes who had perceived the mangos, is going to cry...

This is the Law of Karma.

There is a circle, you know.

What you sow, that you will reap!
