The date of May 27th, 1963... 

is that of the last visible appointment with the Madonna, the last illumination. 

There are 70 and more people.

After the recitation of the Holy Rosary, inside the rustic church of the erected church, people all move to the street, for the last prayers, before taking the way back. They recite the 15 Hail Marys (at the time, 15 mysteries of the rosary), the Our Father, the Glory, the Creed and the Salve Regina and are about to conclude with the invocation: 'O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to you!'...

when a cry is heard in the dark:

'Here is Our Lady!'

This time it is not Theodore's voice that makes itself heard... 

but that of a deaf-mute girl, who in tears points to the picture of the Madonna... 

that at that moment lights up.

It is now the conviction... 

of many faithful and pilgrims to the Shrine of Jaddico... 

that the Mother of God, venerated in this place in front of Her Sacred Image, which was about to be completely destroyed, has received from our Lord a particular task, that of protecting all of them who come to present Her their needs.

The Sanctuary is a place of meditation and prayer. It is open day and night. Those who enter, perceive an extraordinary sensation of peace and serenity, which pushes them to return. The greatest Graces are the interior ones.

Many conversions take place, thanks to the intercession of Mary, who with maternal love, discrete and delicate, brings back to Jesus those who had distanced themselves from Him.
