As soon as you enter the 'Cenacle Area'...
on the left, you will find two bronze statues...
representing an apparition of the Virgin to Renato Baron.
The latter can be seen reaching out his hands to touch those of Mary, and in the underlying plaque everything is explained by reporting the words that the Queen of Love said to him during an apparition on the Mount of Christ in the distant April 1988:
'Renato, touch My Hands (and Renato physically stretched them towards the Madonna), do you hear? I too was like you, and one day you too will be like me.'
Renato several times, speaking to the pilgrims, said...
that when that day he touched Mary's hands, he felt Her corporeality and warmth...
similarly to our earthly hands.
